About this activity
Indoor Animal Yoga Flow sequences cat, downward dog, frog, flamingo, and tortoise poses with slow breaths between each. No mats required — a towel works. Ideal rainy-day reset, summer-heat cool-down, and after-school transition before homework or dinner when energy needs grounding rather than racing.

How to play
- 1Stand barefoot on a towel and take three slow breaths together before any poses.
- 2Move through cat stretch, downward dog, frog squat, flamingo balance, and tortoise curl — five breaths each.
- 3Say the animal name aloud on the inhale and a calm word (soft, still, strong) on the exhale.
- 4If balance wobbles, allow a hand on the wall — celebrate trying, not perfect statues.
- 5Finish lying on the towel for thirty seconds of quiet ‘sleeping tortoise’ time.
